Photography
Rui Pedro Ribeiro was born in 1975, in the city of Porto.
He holds a Law Degree from the University of Coimbra.
In 2003, he attended the analogue photography course at the Instituto Português de Fotografia.
In 2011, he attended the Forensic Photography course, administered by the Portuguese Bar Association.
He was the official photographer of the 6th edition of the Guimarães Noc Noc festival and took part in several events as a freelance photographer, such as the Vilar de Mouros Music Festival, the oldest in Portugal.
In 2017, he completed the Documentary Photography workshop at the Instituto de Produção e Imagem Cultural (IPCI) and, in 2018, he completed the Master in Artistic Photography. Currently he is a trainer of the Professional Course in Cultural Production at the IPCI.
In December 2019, his photographic project "Lado B" was published in Revista Egoísta.
He also presented his work in individual and group exhibitions, the last one in May 2021, with the title "Detrás del Telón - Diario Fotográfica del Proyecto C_M_8" - at the Teatro-Circo de Murcia, at the opening of the Caleidoscope Festival.
